1. Use your remote control to create a 4-digit Purchase pin number.
a. Hit the menu button twice on your remote to browse categories.
b. Hit the arrow keys on the remote to select "Setup", then press OK (setup is at the bottom typically)
c. Hit the arrow keys on the remote to select "PINs Setup", then press OK.
d. Enter a 4-digit number in the Purchase PIN box and press OK. confirm the 4-digit number, press OK to exit. Now you will be required to enter the 4-digit PIN when you order PPV programming.
How-to setup channel blocking
1. Use your remote control to create a 4-digit Locking pin number.
a. Hit the menu button twice on your remote to browse categories.
b. Hit the arrow keys on the remote to select "Setup", then press OK (setup is at the bottom typically)
c. Hit the arrow keys on the remote to select "PINs Setup", then press OK.
d. Enter a 4-digit number in the Locks PIN box and press OK. confirm the 4-digit number, press OK to exit.
2. Select channels to restrict.
You can use our channel lineup builder to make a printable view of channels. Otherwise, if you know what channels you want to block, follow the next steps.
a. From the setup menu, choose "Locks Setup"
b. Here you can select options to filter channels based on TV ratings, movie ratings, or by selecting individual channels under "Channel Locks"
c. once you've chosen your channels to restrict, hit the "EXIT" button on the remote.
d. You will need to remember your PIN number to change restriction levels, or to view a channel that is restricted.
